Food Engineering

The undergraduate program in Food Engineering aims to graduate professionals to develop engineering activities applied to the food industry, from raw material selection to all steps of the industrialization process and defining the best storage and supply conditions of the final product, in different branches of the food industry, such as the processing of fish, meat, milk, cereals, vegetal oils, fruit, vegetables, drinks, etc.

The Bachelor of Food Engineering enables you to work in the food production and processing areas, projects, quality control, research and development, commercial and marketing, and also in the inspection of food and drinks.

Professional profile

Food engineers work under socioenvironmental responsibility in identifying, analyzing and seeking for problem solutions concerning products and processes in order to assure the nutritional safety and sustainability.
