Agroindustrial Engineering Agrochemistry

The undergraduate program in Agroindustrial Engineering Agrochemistry aims to prepare professionals to work in the agroindustry sector and contribute to the national and regional economic development, transforming and adding value to agricultural goods; fostering the development of research applied to agroindustry, aiming at the use of new raw materials; and developing sustainable processes of transformation and transference of new processes and new technologies to the industry, as well as having engineers aware of their role in society and in the environment preservation.

Occupation area

Bachelors of Agroindustrial Engineering Agrochemistry will be able to work in the chemical industry related to the agroindustrial sector, developing management activities or activities associated with productive processes. Some of these areas include: fertilizer industries, chemical preservatives, paper and cellulose, resins, vegetal oils, biofuels, etc.

Agroindustrial Engineers are professionals with science and mathematics abilities to developing logical and systematical thinking to solve everyday problems within their work field. Also, you will be able to work in management activities, enhancing oral and written communication skills and integrating multidisciplinary teams.
