Integrated Analysis Center – CIA

The Integrated Analysis Center was created in 2015 and has equipment for Nuclear Magnetic Resonance (NMR) spectroscopy techniques, and is intended for multi-users and shared use. NMR spectroscopy is one of the most powerful techniques to study the nature and structural characteristics of molecules. Its applications embrace several fields of study, such as structural chemistry and biology, medical chemistry, food and environment analysis of matrices, forensic sciences, in addition to diagnosis and biomedicine. Researchers from FURG and other institutions can use the equipment and facilities of this Center upon application, submission and approval of a proposal.
