This degree aims to promote critical and interdisciplinary studies on the relationships between Law and Social Justice, based on issues that address equality of civil rights, solidarity and sustainability. The law must be committed to the promotion of citizenship, which implies in overcoming legally the false dichotomy between freedoms of rights, on the one hand, and equality of rights, on the other hand. Legal pluralism allows us to reflect on the possibilities of incorporating jurisprudential solutions to social conflicts drawing on humanitarian values and dedicated to public ethic and social justice.
