This degree aims to prepare environmental educators to understand the current socioecological crisis in Brazil and in the world; substantiating the elaboration of pedagogical proposals capable of training critical-transforming citizens; focusing on the regional socio-ecological situation and school roles in the face of environmental crisis; and stimulating research in the area, identifying potential issues and proposing sustainable solutions.
