The undergraduate program in Chemical Engineering aims to train professionals with systemic vison to assess problems as a whole, proposing suitable solutions concerning a technical, economic, social and environmental point of view. Also, this degree stimulates a pedagogical approach aimed at the student, which develops a leading role during their education, strengthening both theory and practice.

Bachelors of Chemical Engineering may work in many branches of the chemical industry, such as preparation, manipulation, reaction, extraction, separation of chemical processes; use of raw material, use of chemical products and by-products from the petrochemical industry, fertilizers, catalysts, paintings, polymers, plastics, resins and synthetic fibers, oils and fats, pharmaceuticals and cosmetics, biofuels, drinks, among others.

Chemical engineers may have a technical, scientific, wide and humanistic qualification, being able to work collectively, ethically and critically with social and environmental responsibility. You will also develop professional and technological knowledge, embracing processes and operations, planning and projecting equipment and installation of chemical and correlated industries.
